PAVAS Default Startup Menu

In normal operation, PAVAS starts and after initialization finishes, displays the first menu of the list. During an event, often is is desirable to avoid scrolling through the menu list to arrive at the function required. This can be achieved by setting the Default Startup Menu. Once this is set, PAVAS will start and immediately run this menu. All menus in PAVAS can be set as the Default menu except the Default menu. Setting a Default Start up menu items is most useful when running TSD or Regularity events since it minimizes button presses at the start of the event.

When the Default Start Up menu is entered, PAVAS displays either a start up menu number and a short description or N None which signifies that a Startup Menu has not been selected. The Up and Down button scan be used to scroll to the desired menu. Once the required one is found, the Select button is pressed. PAVAS will display a summary of which menu has been selected.

Once PAVAS starts and runs the Default menu and that menu is exited, PAVAS then just displays the normal scroll menu so another function can be selected.

One quick way to run the default menu is to press the RESET button and force PAVAS to re-start.
