PAVAS Regularity Log

PAVAS store the basic results of up to 64 Laps in Flash memory. This results can be accessed by the Display Log menu for the Regularity stages.

The menu first shows a lap number to view. The lap number is set by using the cursor buttons and then pressing Select button to load the data for the lap.

The results are displayed in rotating messages and the upper line shows the data type and the required value and the actual value (req/act) prompts for the stage. The lower line shows the values. The standard displays are for the Regularity distance and lap Time. The average speeds are calculated from these values and show in further display. The last display is called corrected time. The lap distance and the actual distance travelled may vary, so this is the time for the lap if the distances were the same.

The left and right buttons move left or right through the rotating displays. The persistence of the display is increased from two seconds to six seconds when a manual selection is made. When the up or down button is pressed the display is changed to another lap. The lap number is briefly displayed and then the data for that lap appears. This make scrolling through or accessing a lap results, quick.

If there is no data for the stage, the displays show the word “Empty”
